Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Advanced Anaheim Concrete Company website and any estimate, quote or job you get from us. When you browse the site, call us, send the form or book work with us, you're agreeing to them, so please read them first.

If a written estimate or contract we sign with you says something different from this page, the signed document wins for that job. Nothing here limits any right you have under California law.

What we do

We're a concrete contractor in Anaheim, CA. We build driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, pool decks, retaining walls, footings, foundations and slabs, and we also do decorative and stamped concrete, foundation raising and concrete cutting. You can see the full list on our home page and read more about the crew on our about page.

The services on this site are a general description. What we'll actually do on your property is what's written in your estimate or contract, because every yard, slope and old slab is a little different.

Estimates and pricing

We give free estimates at your property, and there's no pressure to book. An estimate is our best price for the work we can see and the scope we agree on, and it stays good for the period written on it.

Some things only show up once the old concrete is out or the ground is open, like soft or wet soil under the slab, buried roots, old footings or debris. If we find something that changes the work or the price, we'll stop, show you, and get your okay in writing before we go on.

Prices on any page of this site, or anything said in a phone call, aren't a binding quote. Only a written estimate or contract is.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We'll give you a start date and an expected length for the job when you book. Concrete depends on weather, so rain, high heat or wind can push the pour back, because pouring in bad conditions makes a weaker slab and we won't do that to save a day.

Delays from weather, material supply, utility marking, inspections or anything else outside our control aren't a breach of our agreement. We'll tell you as soon as we know and pick a new date with you.

If you need to cancel or move your date, call us at (657) 347-3764 as early as you can. If we've already ordered concrete, rented equipment or started work, you may owe for those costs as your contract sets out, and any cancellation rights California law gives you still apply.

Your side of the job

You'll need to give our crew clear access to the work area and tell us about anything we can't see, like sprinkler lines, private gas or electric lines, septic parts or drainage pipes. You're also responsible for knowing where your property lines are and for any approval your HOA requires.

New concrete needs time to cure, which is the wait while it hardens and gains strength before it can take weight. We'll tell you when it's safe to walk and drive on, and damage from using it sooner, or from cars, pets or people crossing barriers we put up, isn't on us.

Payment

Your written estimate or contract sets out what you owe, any deposit, and when each payment is due. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's paid, and you may owe reasonable collection costs as California law allows. If you have a question about a bill, please call us before the due date so we can sort it out.

Warranty and what concrete does on its own

We stand behind our work, and if you're not satisfied, tell us and we'll come back and look at it. Any specific warranty on your job, including what it covers and for how long, is the one written in your contract.

Concrete is a natural material, and some things are normal and aren't defects. Small hairline cracks, slight color differences between pours, and changes in a stamped or broom finish, which is the light texture we drag across the top for grip, can all happen even on a well-built slab. Control joints, the lines we cut into the slab, are there so any cracking follows a straight line we chose.

Our warranty doesn't cover damage from tree roots, soil movement we couldn't have known about, earthquakes, flooding, de-icing salts, heavy trucks or equipment the slab wasn't built for, or repairs and changes made by someone else. Apart from what's in your contract, we don't make any other promise about our work or this website, to the extent the law allows.

Limits on our liability

We're licensed and fully insured, and we take care to protect your property while we work. Even so, to the extent California law allows, Advanced Anaheim Concrete Company isn't liable for indirect or follow-on losses, like lost use of your driveway, lost income or damage from hidden conditions you didn't tell us about.

If we are found liable for something, our total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid us for the job in question. This doesn't limit liability for our own gross negligence or anything else the law doesn't let a business limit.

Using this website

The information on this site is general and meant to help you understand concrete work, not to replace an on-site look at your project. We try to keep it accurate, but we can't promise every detail is current or right for your property.

The text, photos and design on this site belong to Advanced Anaheim Concrete Company, and you may not copy or reuse them for business purposes without our written permission. Links to outside sites are for your convenience, and we aren't responsible for what's on them.

Settling a disagreement

If something goes wrong, please talk to us first, because most problems get fixed fastest with a call and a visit. If we can't work it out together, we'll both try mediation in good faith before going to court, and either of us can still use small claims court for claims that fit there.

These terms and any job we do are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any court case will be handled in the courts of Orange County, California.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page from time to time, and the newest version is the one posted here. Changes don't affect a job you've already signed for, which stays under the terms in place when you signed.
